• Each dose contains a minimum of 2.5 log10 EID50 of LTI virus – Serva strain grown on SPF embryos. The lyophilized pill contains stabilizer and gentamicin sulfate.

• Chickens are vaccinated ocularly twice: at the age of 4-6 weeks and after 10 weeks.
  Preparation of the vaccine solution: Open the ampoule with lyophilized vaccine and the vial with Oculo-Nasal diluent. The lyophilized tablet is dissolved and homogenized through the plastic connection of the diluent container. Attach the dropper to the bottle with the vaccine solution. Vaccination is done by instilling a single drop into one of the bird’s eyes. To ensure the flow of the liquid and the uniformity of the drops, the bottle is held with the dropper down.
  Vaccination schedule: It is recommended to vaccinate susceptible birds at the age of 4 – 6 weeks and revaccinate at 14 – 16 weeks. In cases of necessity, the vaccination can be carried out later but the revaccination will be done at the latest one month before the start of laying. In LTI epidemic areas (farms), all birds will be vaccinated, even if they show no symptoms and are in very good clinical condition, so that the disease will be controlled and losses reduced.
• Immunization: Intraocular vaccination produces in 4-5 days a rapid immunization that lasts about 1 year.

• Sick birds are not vaccinated.
