• 1 ml of the drug contains as an active substance: propranolol hydrochloride – 5 mg, as well as excipients: sodium metabisulfite, propylene glycol, chlorethone, citric acid, sodium hydroxide and water for injection.

• Uteroton is administered intramuscularly or intravenously.
• At a dose of 10 ml per animal:
  – in cows to stimulate labor activity and prevent postpartum complications once a day of delivery;
  – when retaining the placenta in cows three times with an interval of 12 hours;
  – for the treatment of subinvolution of the uterus and postpartum endometritis in cows three times with an interval of 24 hours in combination with other drugs.
• At a dose of 5 ml per animal:
  – for the prevention of the syndrome “metritis-mastitis-agalactia” in sows – once immediately after birth;
  – with artificial insemination to increase fertility in cows and sows once 20-30 minutes before the procedure;
  – when extracting embryos from donor cows 10 – 15 minutes before washing out.

• Uteroton is contraindicated for use during pregnancy and with a pathological location of the fetus, as well as in case of individual hypersensitivity.
• Uterotonk is contraindicated for use during pregnancy and young animals. For lactating animals, the drug is used according to indications with caution, under the supervision of a veterinarian.

• Uteroton is available packaged in 20, 50, 100 and 250 ml glass bottles, hermetically sealed with rubber stoppers, reinforced with aluminum caps with clips to control the first opening.
