- 100 g of the drug contains the active substance: tiamulin hydrogen fumarate – 45.0 g.

Indications |
- Pigs – for therapeutic purposes in dysentery, enzootic pneumonia and mycoplasmal arthritis;
- Chickens and turkeys – for therapeutic and therapeutic and prophylactic purposes in mycoplasma infections caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synovia and Mycoplasma meleagridis.

Dosage and method of administration |
- Rodotium® 45% is used with water for individual or group drinking. During the period of therapeutic and treatment-and-prophylactic treatments, the therapeutic solution of tiamulin should be the only source of drinking water for pigs and birds. A fresh solution of the drug must be prepared daily.
- For the treatment of dysentery in pigs, the drug is used at a dose of 0.02 g per 1 kg of animal weight, which corresponds to 8.8 mg/kg of tiamulin. Consumption by animals of the daily dose is provided by drinking 0.006% solution of tiamulin for 3-5 days.
- For the treatment of enzootic pneumonia in pigs, Rodotium® 45% is used at a dose of 0.033-0.045 g (15-20 mg of tiamulin) per 1 kg of animal weight. The consumption of the daily dose by animals is ensured by drinking 0.012-0.018% solution of tiamulin for 5-10 days.
- For the treatment of pleuropneumonia in pigs, the drug is used at a dose of 0.045 g (20 mg of tiamulin) per 1 kg of animal weight. Consumption by animals of the daily dose is provided by drinking 0.018% solution of tiamulin for 5-7 days.
- Before use, the daily rate of water consumption by pigs is calculated and a treatment solution of the required concentration is prepared.
- To prepare a 0.006% solution of tiamulin (DV), 1 g of Rodotium 45% granules is dissolved in 7.5 liters of water; to prepare a 0.012% solution – 1 g of granules is dissolved in 3.75 liters of water; to prepare a 0.018% solution – 1 g of granules is dissolved in 2.5 liters of water.
- For therapeutic and therapeutic and prophylactic purposes in case of mycoplasma infections, broiler chickens, replacement chickens up to 16 weeks of age and parent stock Rhodotium® 45% are used at a dose of 0.067-0.11 g per 1 kg of bird weight, which corresponds to 30-50 mg/kg of tiamulin. The consumption of a daily dose by a bird is provided by drinking a 0.025% solution of tiamulin for 3-5 days. To prepare a 0.025% solution of tiamulin, 1.1 g of the drug is dissolved in 2 liters of water.
- For therapeutic and therapeutic and prophylactic purposes in case of mycoplasmal infections in turkeys, the drug is used at a dose of 0.056-0.11 g per 1 kg of bird weight, which corresponds to 25-50 mg/kg of tiamulin. Contraindications |
- Joint use with monensin, salinomycin, narasin and other ionophoric coccidiostats, antibiotics of the aminoglycoside group, as well as within 7 days before and 7 days after the use of these drugs, due to the possible occurrence of adverse reactions and complications in animals (diarrhea, anorexia, paresis, nephrotoxic effects);
- Laying hens whose eggs will be used as human food, replacement hens from 16 weeks of age (due to the accumulation of tiamulin in the eggs);
- Increased individual sensitivity to tiamulin.
