Indications
  • Pihtoin ointment is intended for the treatment of wounds, burns, traumatic tissue injuries, eczema, dermatitis, bursitis, mastitis, bruises, papillomas and ulcers in animals. Contains pine resin (20%) as an active ingredient.
Dosage and method of administration
  • Pichtoin is applied in a thin layer on a clean white cloth or gauze napkin, which is previously covered with the affected area of ​​the body, then the napkin with ointment is strengthened with a bandage or special glue. Bandaging is performed 1-2 times a day.
    The ointment can be applied in a thin layer directly to the affected area, lightly rubbing it into the tissues surrounding this area.
    With bruises and mastitis, Pichtoin is applied in the form of warming bandages. When re-treated with Pichtoin, the previously applied ointment should be removed from the surface of the treated area with sterile gauze.
Contraindications
  • No contraindications have been established, with the exception of individual hypersensitivity to the components of the ointment.
Warning
  • Milk and meat of animals, when using Pichtoin in accordance with this instruction, are used without restrictions.
Release form
  • Pihtoin is produced in the form of an ointment of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 100, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 550, 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1000 g in polymer, polyethylene or glass jars.
