| Indications | It is indicated for treatment of poultry (pigeons, fancy pheasants) affected by histomonas meleagridis, trichomoniasis, eimeriosis, salmonellosis caused by microorganisms sensitive to tinidazole.
Dogs and cats: treatment of animals suffering on giardiasis, amoebios, trichomoniasis and other anaerobic infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to tinidazole. Fancy rabbits: treatment of animals suffering on eimeriosis caused by microorganisms sensitive to tinidazol. |
| Dosage and method of administration | Orally in a dose:
Poultry (pigeons, fancy pheasants) – therapeutically – 2 g of the drug per kg of feed for 10 days, and prophylactically -1g of the drug per 1 kg of feed for 14 days. Dogs (giardiasis) – 50 mg of the drug per 1 kg of body weight with the feed for 5 days; under anaerobic infections – 30 mg of the drug per 1 kg of body weight for 2-3 weeks; under amoebios – 60 mg of the drug per 1 kg of body weight for 5 days. Cats – (giardiasis, trichomoniasis) – 25 mg of the drug per 1 kg of body weight with feed for 10 days. Fancy rabbits – under eimeriosis in adult animals – daily with feed 0.2-0.3 g of the drug per 1 kg of body weight for 3 days, youngsters during weaning (prophylactically) – 0.1 g of the drug per 1 kg of body weight for 10 days. |
| Contraindications | Do not administer to animals with impaired renal function and liver, as well as the animals susceptible to tinidazole. Do not administer in the last third of pregnancy. |
| Warning | Some animals may have increased sensitivity to tinidazole with the advent of an allergic reaction in the form of fever, urticaria, nausea. After the abolition of the use of the drug, these properties disappear without special invasion. |
