| Indications | Insectacaricidal spray bars are indicated for dogs, cats, ferrets, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rats and hamsters in the case of entomoses (malophagous and hematophagous lice, fleas), sarcoptoidosis (sarcoptosis, notoedrosis), heiletiosis and ixode ticks, but also for preventive purposes. |
| Dosage and method of administration | Shake the bottle well and, holding it vertically, sprinkle it on the required surface from a distance of 25-30 cm. Pressing on the 200 ml vial diffuser ensures that a doses of 1.0 ml, 100 ml-0.25 ml vial. To decontaminate insects and combat the attack of ixode ticks – the entire surface of the animal’s body is processed by applying to the skin, slightly moistening the fur (in animals with long fur, the tuxedo is held with the mine and applied to its base). To avoid ingestion, the animal is dressed in muzzle. The dose of BarsR insecticide spray for dogs, cats and ferrets, depending on the condition of the fur varies from 0.5-1.0 ml / kg body weight, which shows 2-4 sprays from the 100 ml bottle and 1 spray (1 .0 ml) from the 200 ml vial. Protecting the animal’s eyes with the hand, the ear and chest pavilions are processed, with the fingertips the preparation is gently massaged around the eyes and nose, then the neck, body, limbs, abdomen and tail are processed. In 20 min. after processing, the fur is combed and the animal is released from the muzzle. To combat ixode ticks on the surface of the animal body, the preparation is applied to the site of its fixation to the skin. If for 20-30 min. it does not fall, then it is carefully extracted and destroyed. For preventive purposes, processing is performed no more frequently than once a month against insects and once every 14 days against ixode ticks (during the parasitic season). In cat notoendrosis and dog sarcoptosis, the preparation is applied to the affected area free of crusts and 1 cm of adjacent tissue. The application is performed until the affected surface is slightly moistened, 2-4 times with an interval of 7-10 days, until the animal recovers, which is verified with two negative results of the laboratory acarological examination. Animals with large areas affected are processed in two stages with an interval of 1 day, applying first on one side of the body, then on another. Rodents effected by ectoparasites are processed with BarsR insecticaricidal spray in relation to: hamsters-0.25 ml / animal, chinchilla, guinea pigs and rats-0.25 ml / 100 g body weight. Until the fur is completely dry, avoid licking and approaching electrical outlets and open flames. Do not wash animals with shampoo or soap, 3 days until and 3 days after processing, in water tanks for 48 hours after processing. For the purpose of preventive invasion, bedding and other care items are sprayed at a rate of 2 ml / 1m2. The contact of the animal with the processed surfaces is not allowed for 3 days and it is washed with detergent before subsequent use. A processing, provides protection to the animal from insects -1 months, from ixode ticks-not less than 2 weeks. |
