| Indications |

It is indicated in the treatment and prophylaxis of infections of the digestive tract – the most common of colibacteriosis and salmonellosis of calves, piglets, lambs and chicks, in bacterial enteritis of rabbits.

| Dosage and method of administration |
- Calves-20-40 mg apramycin sulfate / kg body weight for 5 days;
- Lambs-10 mg apramycin sulfate / kg body weight for 3-5 days;
- Piglets-7.5-12.5 mg apramycin sulfate / kg body weight for 7 days;
- Chicken-250-500 mg apramycin sulfate / I water (25-50 mg apramycin sulfate / kg body weight) for 7 days;
- Rabbits-50-100 mg apramycin sulfate / 1 water (10-15 mg apramycin sulfate / kg body weight) for 5-8 days; 1 g of the preparation contains 500 mg of apramycin sulfate.
It is administered internally to chickens, piglets and rabbits mixed with water, calves with milk or milk substitutes, lambs-diluted in a small amount of water or milk being breastfed.
The required amount of preparation, diluted in a volume 10-15 times greater than water, then after total dissolution to be added to the required volume of water. |
| Contraindications |
- Contraindication to the use of Araveta water-soluble powder is the individual hypersensitivity of the animal to apramycin, as well as in severe lesions of the excretory system.
- It is forbidden to use the medicinal product in laying hens and replacement chickens less than 2 weeks before the start of oviposition, due to the accumulation of apramycin in the eggs.
- Not to be indicated for cats, ruminants with functional rumen; ruminants and birds whose milk and eggs are given for human consumption; in case of individual hypersensitivity to apramycin or other aminoglycosides.
