Alben is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic, active against mature and immature nematodes and cestodes, as well as matured trematodes. Possessing an ovocidal effect, reduces the infestation of helminth pastures. Assign to sheep, goats, cattle, horses, pigs, fur animals and birds with gastrointestinal nematodes.

Composition Alben contains 0.2 g of albendazole and auxiliary components as an active ingredient. The drug is produced in the form of 20% granules.
Indications Assigned to sheep, goats, cattle, horses, pigs, fur-bearing animals and poultry for gastrointestinal nematodosis (hemonkhoz, bunostomosis, esophagostomosis, nematodyrosis, ostertagiosis, habertiosis, cooperiosis, strongyloidosis, paraskystrongylosis , trichocephalosis, toxacariasis, toxascariasis, ankylostomiasis, uncinariasis), pulmonary nematodesis (dictyocaulosis, protostrongylosis, mulleriosis, metastrongylosis, neostrongylosis, cystocaulosis), cestodosacles (monochlostomiasis, fascesaniasis)
Dosage and method of administration Alben is given to animals without a preliminary fasting diet, orally, once, individually or in a group, mixed with concentrated feed in the following doses:

  • Pigs 5.0 g / 100 kg body weight.
  • Horses 3.75 g / 100 kg.
  • Cattle 3.75 g / 100 kg.
  • Sheep and goats 2.5 g / 100 kg, with fascioliasis and dicroceliosis and protostrongyloidosis, the dose is increased to 3.75 g / 100 kg.
  • Poultry 0.5 g / 10 kg.
  • For carnivores 0.75 g / 10 kg.
Contraindications Alben is not allowed to be used in acute fascioliasis, during the breeding period, to sheep in the first half, and to females of other animals in the first third of pregnancy, patients with infectious diseases, malnourished animals and with individual hypersensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug. It is forbidden to use the drug for laying hens in the production of marketable eggs, since the drug is excreted with the egg within 4 days.
Warning

Slaughter of farm animals for meat is allowed after 20 days for granules and 14 days when using tablets. Milk can be used for food purposes not earlier than 4 days after deworming. In the event of forced slaughter of earlier established deadlines, the meat can be used for feed for carnivores or for the production of meat and bone meal. A bird’s egg can be eaten one day after deworming.

Release form Alben granules are packed in 0.5 kg and 1 kg bags in laminated paper bags and polymer cans.
Storage conditions Store in original package. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Store separately from food and animal feeding at +5 – +25°С.
Shelf life 3 years from the date of production.
