Dosage form: solution for oral administration. Stop-stress drops are contained in 1 ml as active substances: phenibut – 100 mg and a complex of extracts of medicinal plants: rhizome of valerian 40 mg, mint catfish, motherwort, hop, skullcap of Baikal – 20 mg, as well as auxiliary components: aspavit – 7 Mg glycerol – 0.7 ml and distilled water – up to 1 ml. |

| Indications | Stop-stress drops are prescribed to reduce the excitation and correction of psychogenic behavioral disorders in cats and dogs under stresses, phobias, aggression without apparent causes and with increased sexual arousal (together with contraceptive drugs). | Dosage and method of administration |
Stop-stress drops are applied to cats and dogs orally to the root of the tongue (or in the cheek bag) or with a small amount of goodies, taking into account the mass, the type of nervous activity and the degree of excitation of the animal, at the following daily doses: Cats – 1 drop of the drug (5 mg of DV) per 1 kg of the animal’s weight; Dogs – 2 drops of the drug (10 mg for DV) per 1 kg of the animal’s weight. The daily dose of the drug is divided into two doses and given to the animal in the morning and evening. The course of the drug is 15-20 days. In the presence of signs of strong arousal and psychogenic impairment of behavior (aggression, fear, hyperactivity, excessive vocalization (barking, meowing), hypersexual behavior, labeling with urine), the course can be extended up to 4 weeks. When the signs of stimulation and / or behavioral disorders appear again in animals, the course of application of the preparation is repeated in the same doses according to the same scheme. In order to prevent stress (transportation, arrival of guests, changing the situation, departure of the host, participation in exhibitions and competitions), the drug is used 3-5 days before the proposed event and within 1 to 4 days after its end. For the prevention of motion sickness, a single daily dose is prescribed, 1 hour before the start of transportation. At the onset of severe manifestations of motion sickness (vomiting), the drug intake is ineffective. To correct behavior with increased sexual activity Stop-Stress drops are used in the same doses together with contraceptive medicines. The duration of the course of application depends on the individual sensitivity of the animals and the degree of their excitability. |
