Enroxil 5% solution for injection

Enroxil® 5% solution for injection is prescribed for agricultural animals and dogs for respiratory, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, colibacillosis, septicemia, salmonellosis, atrophic rhinitis, streptococcosis, bacterial and enzootic pneumonia, MMA syndrome, and other pathogens.

Product Description

Species Cattle, goats, sheep, dogs.
Composition Enroxil® 5% solution for injection as an active ingredient contains enrofloxacin 50 mg in 1 ml, and as auxiliary substances: butanol, potassium hydroxide and water for injection.
Indications Enroxil® 5% solution for injection is prescribed for agricultural animals and dogs for respiratory, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, colibacillosis, septicemia, salmonellosis, atrophic rhinitis, streptococcosis, bacterial and enzootic pneumonia, MMA syndrome, and other pathogens, pathogens Which are sensitive to enrofloxacin.
Dosage and method of administration Enroxil® 5% injection is used for calves, sheep and goats subcutaneously, and piglets, pigs and sows intramuscularly once a day for three to five days, at a dose of 1 ml per 20 kg of animal weight (2.5 mg enrofloxacin per 1 Kg of animal weight).

In case of salmonellosis and respiratory infections, Enroxil® 5% solution for injections is prescribed once a day for five days at a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of animal weight (5.0 mg enrofloxacin per 1 kg animal weight).

Dogs Enroxil® 5% injection is administered subcutaneously once a day at a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of animal weight (5 mg of enrofloxacin per 1 kg of animal weight) for five days, if necessary, the duration of treatment can be increased to ten days. It is forbidden to use Enroxil® 5% solution for injections to puppies under the age of 12 months (puppies of large breeds are under 18 months of age), since a negative effect on the development of cartilaginous tissue during the growth of the animal is possible.

In view of the possible pain reaction of Enroxil®, a 5% solution for injection should be administered in an amount of not more than 5 ml in one place to large animals and not more than 2.5 ml to small animals.

Contraindications It is forbidden to use the medicinal product for animals with severe developmental disorders of the cartilaginous tissue, with nervous system disorders accompanied by convulsions, with severe liver and kidney damage, and also when the microorganisms resistant to fluoroquinolones are isolated from the diseased animal.
Warning Livestock products after use of the drug are allowed to be used for food purposes without restrictions.

Do not simultaneously use Enroxil® 5% solution for injection with chloramphenicol, macrolides, tetracyclines, theophylline and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 14 days after the last use of the medicinal product. Meat of animals, who were forced to die before the expiration of this period, can be used for feeding fur-bearing animals.

Release form Enroxil® is given a 5% solution for injection packaged in 50 ml and 100 ml in bottles of dark glass of appropriate capacity. Each bottle is placed in a cardboard box and supplied with instructions for use.
Storage conditions Store in original package. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Store separately from food and animal feeding at +5-25°С.
Shelf life 5 years from the date of production.
