|Composition||1 ml contains:
sulfadimethoxine sodium – 300 mg;
sulfadiazine sodium – 300 mg;
trimethoprim – 120 mg.
|Indications||It is indicated for treatment and prevention of a big group of bacterial infections in agricultural and domestic animals and poultry:
– respiratory organs (angina, bronchial pneumonia, pharyngitis, pleurisy, tracheitis);
– digestion organs (colibacillosis, dyspepsia, gastroenteritis);
– urinogenital organs (postnatal sepsis, cystitis, urethritis, endometritis, mastitis, pyelitis);
– specific infections (actinomycosis, coccidiosis, diplococcus, dysentery, erysipelas, pasteurellosis, respiratory mycoplasm, salmonellosis, oedema disease, pulloros, enterotoxaemia) and postoperative complications.
|Dosage and method of administration||Solution of Brovaseptol is administered intramuscularly.
Cattle, sheep, horses, pigs: 0,6-0,8 ml / 10 kg of b.w.
Cats, dogs: 0.1 – 0.15ml / 1 kg of b.w.
Poultry: 0,1 ml /1 kg of b.w.
Repeated administration is conducted 3 – 5 times every 24 -36 hours.
For the treatment of young birds, piglets and rabbits it is allowed to administer it with drinking water. To do this the solution is added to the daily rate of the drinking water at the rate of 0.9-1.2 ml per 1 liter of drinking water (1 g of powder per 3 liters of water).
At the needle entry point it should be administered not more than 10 ml of drug for young birds and small animals, and not more than 20 ml of drug for adult animals.
|Contraindications||Hypersensitivity to the drug. Do not administer to animals with impaired renal function and liver.|
|Release form||Glass bottles closed with a rubber stopper under the aluminum run of 3.3 and 6.6 g complete with sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution of 8 and 16 ml respectively.|
|Storage conditions||Store in original package. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Store separately from food and animal feeding at +5 – 25°С.|
