Indications |
The product is intended for sheep for the treatment of gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes (Oesophagostomum spp., Nematodirus spp., Haemonchus spp., Trichostongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Dictyocaulus spp.) trematodoses (Fasciola spp.) and cestodes (Moniesia spp.). |
Dosage and method of administration |
Ascacid 2.5% is administered orally with a syringe or other graduated device to administer an oral suspension to animals in a single dose of 7.5 mg albendazole / kg body weight (15 ml Ascacid 2.5% / 50 kg body weight). |
Contraindications | Due to potential teratogenic and embryotoxic effects, the drug is not administered during the first month of pregnancy. |
