| Indications |
Treatment of infections caused by bacterial strains sensitive to marbofloxacin.
Dogs:
- Skin and soft tissue infections (pyoderma, impetigo, folliculitis, furunculosis, cellulitis);
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs), associated or not with prostatitis or epididymitis;
- Respiratory tract infections.
Cats:
- Skin and soft tissue infections (open wounds, abscesses, phlegmons);
- Upper respiratory tract infections.

| Dosage and method of administration |
Oral administration.
Recommended dose:
- 2 mg/kg body weight/day (equivalent to 1 tablet per 2.5 kg body weight per day), administered as a single dose.
Note: - In dogs, if necessary, combining whole tablets and half tablets of different strengths (5 mg, 20 mg, or 80 mg) allows for appropriate dosing.

Recommendations for correct administration
To avoid underdosing, the body weight should be determined as precisely as possible.
Treatment duration
Dogs:
- Skin and soft tissue infections: minimum 5 days, up to 40 days, depending on the disease progression;
- Urinary tract infections: minimum 10 days, up to 28 days, depending on the disease progression;
- Respiratory infections: minimum 7 days, up to 21 days, depending on the disease progression.
Cats:
- Skin and soft tissue infections (open wounds, abscesses, phlegmons): 3-5 days;
- Upper respiratory infections: 5 days.

| Contraindications |
- Do not use in dogs under 12 months of age or under 18 months for very large breeds (e.g., Great Dane, Briard, Bernese, Bouvier, Mastiff), where the growth period is longer.
- Do not use in cats under 16 weeks of age.
- Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to marbofloxacin, other (fluoro)quinolones, or any of the excipients.
