Composition

1 ml contains:  
Active substance:  
- Tiamulin – 100 mg  

Excipients:  
- Ethanol (96%) – 50.0 mg  
- Butyl parahydroxybenzoate – 0.2 mg  
- Propyl trihydroxybenzoate – 0.4 mg  
- Sesame oil – up to 1 ml  

Indications

Rodotium 10%, injectable solution, is indicated for pigs for the treatment of the following conditions:  
- Dysentery  
- Enterocolitis of spirochetal etiology  
- Enzootic bronchopneumonia  
- Pleuropneumonia  
- Mycoplasmal arthritis 

Dosage and method of administration

Rodotium 10%, injectable solution, is administered once a day in the following dosages.
 

Indications

Daily dosage

Duration of the treatment course

Dysentery and enterocolitis of spirochetal etiology

1 ml/12.5 kg body weight

Once, repeated after 24 hours in severe cases.

Enzootic pneumonia and mycoplasmal arthritis

1.5 ml/12.5 kg body weight

Once a day for 3 days

Pleuropneumonia of actinobacillary etiology

2 ml/12.5 kg body weight

Once a day for 3 days


It is administered to animals intramuscularly.  

Recommendations for correct administration  
Due to the painful sensation caused by the inoculation of the veterinary drug in volumes greater than 7 ml, the injection is performed at multiple sites.

Contraindications

- Increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the veterinary drug.  
- Administration of the drug is not recommended for animals with hepatic or renal insufficiency.

Waiting period

The slaughter of pigs for human consumption is permitted no earlier than 10 days after the administration of the veterinary drug Rodotium 10%, injectable solution. Carcasses obtained from animals slaughtered before the expiration of this deadline may be used to feed fur-bearing animals.

Release form

Glass vials of 50 ml and 100 ml, sealed with rubber stoppers and aluminum caps. The vials are packaged in individual cardboard boxes, accompanied by administration instructions.

Storage conditions Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children.
Shelf life

2 years from the date of production, from the first opening – 3 months.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
