Prophyl 75
General Information
Disinfectant solution in liquid form.
It is a blue-colored liquid with a slight specific odor. Active in hard water, it retains its working properties in the presence of organic contaminants at temperatures ranging from -5 to +54 °C.
Composition
Para-chloro-meta-cresol — 9.90%
Chlorophenol (CAS 59-50-7) — 4.95%
Purified drinking water — up to 100%
pH of 1% solution — 6.5
Properties
The product is effective against pathogens of parasitic diseases (coccidia oocysts, helminth eggs, and larvae) and has antimicrobial action against a broad spectrum of gram-negative and gram-positive microorganisms, including chicken infectious anemia virus, IBV, avian reovirus infection, PRRS, classical and African swine fever, foot-and-mouth disease, circovirus type 2 infection, and others.
It is also effective against fungi, including Candida and Trichophyton.
The product retains its properties after freezing and subsequent thawing.
Application
Used for preventive and emergency disinfection of premises; livestock, swine, fur animal, and poultry farms; veterinary facilities, warehouses, household objects, slaughterhouses, zoos, circuses, exhibition halls; for disinfecting open areas, animal gathering places, training grounds, equipment and tools, protective clothing, footwear, containers, and animal care items.
Instructions for Use
Disinfection is carried out using working solutions of "Profile 75" by spraying, wiping, immersion, or soaking in the following concentrations:
Against bacteria, viruses, fungi — 0.5–0.8% solution
Against helminths — 1% solution
Against cryptosporidiosis — 3% solution
Against coccidiosis — 2% solution (18-hour exposure) or 3% solution (4-hour exposure)
For filling disinfection mats and barriers — 1% solution
Disinfection by fine droplet spraying of surfaces and premises, as well as technological spraying, is performed using a fogging method at a rate of 300–500 ml of solution per 1 m².
After the specified exposure time, surfaces that may come into contact with animals should be rinsed with water. Other surfaces do not require rinsing.
Disinfection should be carried out in the absence of animals.
