Method of use:
MURIN FACOUM PASTA is a ready-to-use bait in the form of fresh paste, which must be placed exclusively in tamper-proof bait stations, properly labeled and protected against weather conditions, accidental ingestion by non-target species, and environmental dispersal.

- Place MURIN FACOUM PASTA in suitable containers. Periodically inspect the containers to check integrity, consumption, and remove carcasses. Replenish the bait if necessary.
- Protect the bait from weather conditions (e.g., rain, snow) and avoid flood-prone areas.
- Replace bait damaged by water or dirt.
- Follow relevant good practices.

Indoor and outdoor use for house mouse (Mus musculus):
- Place up to 50 g in each container. Distance between containers: ~5 m (2 m in heavy infestations).
- Inspect every 2-3 days initially, then weekly.

Indoor and outdoor use for Norway rat (Rattus norvegicus):
- Place up to 200 g in each container. Distance between containers: ~10 m (5 m in heavy infestations).
- Inspect every 5-7 days initially, then weekly.

Indoor use for black rat (Rattus rattus):
- Place up to 200 g in each container. Distance between containers: ~10 m (5 m in heavy infestations).
- Inspect every 5-7 days initially, then weekly.

Usage instructions and warnings:
- Read and follow the instructions on the packaging and information provided at the point of sale before use.
- Inspect the infested area and assess the rodent species, their activity areas, and the extent of the infestation.
- Remove accessible food sources for rodents (e.g., spilled grain, food waste). Do not clean the area before treatment to avoid disturbing the rodents and to facilitate bait acceptance.
- Use the product only within an integrated pest management (IPM) system, including hygiene measures and, if possible, physical control methods.
- Apply preventive measures (e.g., sealing holes, removing food and water sources) to control consumption and prevent reinfestation.
- Place bait containers near areas of rodent activity (e.g., pathways, nests, fences, burrows).
- If possible, secure containers to the ground or other structures.
- Clearly label containers, indicating that they contain rodenticides and must not be moved or opened.
- In public spaces, mark treated areas during application, indicating the risk of primary/secondary poisoning and first aid measures.
- Secure the bait so it cannot be removed from the container.
- Avoid placing the product within reach of children, birds, pets, or farm animals.
- Keep the product away from food, drinks, feed, and contact surfaces.
- Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves (UNI EN 374) during handling.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke during use. Wash hands and exposed skin after application.
- If bait consumption is low compared to the infestation, reposition containers or change the bait type.
- If rodents remain active after 35 days of treatment, identify the cause (e.g., resistance) and consider non-anticoagulant rodenticides, more effective anticoagulants, or traps.
- Label containers with: “Do not move or open”; “Contains a rodenticide”; “MURIN FACOUM PASTA or authorization no.”; “Active substance”; “In case of incident, call 112”.
- Do not open inner sachets.
- Hazardous to wildlife.
