Stop stress tablets 5 for dogs

Stop-stress tablets 2 and 5 contain the following active substances:  
- Aminophenylbutyric acid (phenibut)  
- Extracts of medicinal plants (Baikal skullcap, hop cones, motherwort, Rhodiola rosea).  

The preparation is produced in two variants:  
- Stop-stress tablets 2 (with a mass of 200 mg)  
- Stop-stress tablets 5 (with a mass of 500 mg)  

Excipients:  
- Lactose  
- Aspasvit C200  
- Microcrystalline cellulose  
- Calcium stearate.  

The quantitative composition of the active substances in the tablets is detailed in Table 1.

Stop-stress tablets 2 and 5 are indicated for reducing excitability and correcting psychogenic behavioral disorders in dogs and cats in situations of stress, phobias, abnormal aggression, and excessive sexual arousal (in combination with contraceptive preparations).

The tablets are administered to animals individually with food or forcibly on the root of the tongue, twice daily. The dosage is selected individually based on body weight, the type of nervous system, and the degree of excitability. Average doses are indicated in the table.  

The duration of the treatment course is 15–20 days. In cases of intense excitability and psychogenic behavioral disorders (aggression, phobias, hyperactivity, excessive vocalization – barking, meowing, hypersexual behavior, territory marking), the course can be extended up to 4 weeks.  

In case of recurring symptoms of excitability or behavioral disorders, the course is repeated at the same doses according to the same schedule.  

For preventive purposes (stress related to transportation, arrival of guests, change of environment, owner’s departure, participation in exhibitions and competitions), the preparation is administered 3–5 days before exposure to stress factors and 1–4 days afterward (until the symptoms of overexcitement disappear).  

For correcting behavior in cases of heightened sexual activity, Stop-stress tablets 2 and 5 are administered at the same doses concurrently with contraceptives. The duration of the course depends on the animal’s individual sensitivity and degree of excitability but should not exceed 4 weeks.  

Increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the preparation (including in the medical history), dysfunctions of the urogenital tract, tumors, and diabetes mellitus.
