Composition 1 ml of solution contains active substance halofuginone – 0.5 mg/ml, equivalent to 0.61 mg of halofuginone lactate.
Indications Indicated for the prevention and treatment of cryptosporidiosis in calves.
Dosage and method of administration

To ensure correct dosing, a suitable dosing device (pump) for administration is provided.

Halocen is administered orally, after feeding, using the dosing pump, once a day at a dose of 4 ml/20 kg body weight (one press on the pump trigger), which corresponds to 0.1 mg of halofuginone/kg body weight.

Recommendations for correct administration:

1. Screw the dosing pump onto the bottle.
2. Remove the protective cap from the tip of the applicator (use only in the upright position).
3. If the dosing pump is being used for the first time (or has not been used for several days), carefully pump 2-3 times until a droplet of solution forms at the tip of the applicator.
4. Restrain the calf and place the tip of the dosing pump applicator into the calf's mouth.
5. Fully press the trigger of the dosing pump to release a 4 ml dose of solution. Press two or three times to administer the desired volume (8 ml for calves weighing 35-45 kg and 12 ml for calves weighing 45-60 kg).
6. Replace the protective cap on the applicator tip.

It can also be administered individually, mixed with colostrum or milk (or milk replacer).
