Indications

For the active immunization of pigs to reduce viremia, viral load in the lungs and lymphoid tissues, elimination of the virus caused by porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) infection, and severity of pulmonary lesions caused by *Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae* infection. The vaccine is also intended to reduce the loss of daily weight gain during the finishing phase due to infections with *Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae* and/or PCV2 (as observed in field studies).

Onset of immunity:
- After single administration:
  - PCV2: 2 weeks after vaccination
  - M. hyopneumoniae: 4 weeks after vaccination

- After two administrations:
  - PCV2: 18 days after the first vaccination
  - M. hyopneumoniae: 3 weeks after the second vaccination

Duration of immunity (for both vaccination schemes):
- PCV2: 22 weeks after the (last) vaccination
- M. hyopneumoniae: 21 weeks after the (last) vaccination.

Dosage and method of administration

Pigs are vaccinated intramuscularly, at the neck level.

Single dose vaccination schedule:
A single dose of 2 ml for pigs starting from 3 weeks of age.

Two-dose vaccination schedule:
Two injections of 1 ml each for pigs starting from 3 days of age, with an interval of at least 18 days.

The length and diameter of the needle should be adapted to the age of the animal. If infections with PCV2 and/or M. hyopneumoniae occur earlier, the two-dose vaccination schedule is recommended.

Before using the vaccine, it should be brought to room temperature (15 °C - 25 °C) and shaken well. Contamination should be avoided.

Contraindications Only healthy animals are vaccinated.
If the instructions are followed, there are no contraindications.
Waiting period

Zero days.
