Indications

Duracid Extreme is a concentrated broad-spectrum insecticide intended for the control of flying and crawling insects in various environments, including civil, domestic, industrial spaces, and green areas. It is effective against:

- Common and tiger mosquitoes
- Wasps (for direct spray use)
- Flies and stable flies
- Ants
- Bird mites (Dermanyssus gallinae, only for adult stages)

The product contains three active substances with synergistic action:

- Prallethrin: provides rapid knockdown action.
- Cypermethrin: ensures long-lasting effect.
- Piperonyl Butoxide: inhibits the detoxification mechanism of insects, contributing to the product's effectiveness.

Uses: It can be applied indoors and outdoors in homes, warehouses, schools, hospitals, restaurants, stables, farms, and many other places. For green areas (lawns, decorative plants, and shrubs), the product is used only against mosquitoes.

Equipment: Due to its physicochemical properties, Duracid Extreme can be used with any type of equipment, including ULV nebulizers (only in indoor spaces) and thermal foggers.

Dosage and method of administration

Use of Duracid Extreme with manual and motorized pumps:

The product must be diluted in water before use, according to the following concentrations:

- For mosquito control:
  - 0.5% on non-porous surfaces
  - 1% on porous surfaces (effective for up to 4 weeks).

  - 0.8%-1% on non-porous surfaces (effective for up to 4 weeks)
  - 3% on porous surfaces (effective for up to 2 weeks).
- For mite control in birds:
  - 1% on non-porous surfaces
  - 3% on porous surfaces (effective for up to 1 week).
- For stable fly control: 2% on both porous and non-porous surfaces.

Dosage and Application:
- With 1 liter of solution, approximately 40 m² can be treated.
- For porous surfaces and crawling insects, use 1 liter of solution for every 20 m².

Using low-pressure equipment:
- Prepare a 5% solution in water or glycol:
  - 1 liter of solution to treat 2500 m³ or an area of 1000 m².

Using thermal foggers (fog pump):
- Prepare a 5% solution in glycol or water:
  - Indoors: use 0.8-1 liter of solution for 2000 m³.
  - Outdoors: use 1.2-1.5 liters of solution per hectare. Ensure uniform wetting for fly control in green areas, avoiding dripping.
