Treatment and Prevention of Infestations:

- Fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.):
Provides protection for one month after a single application. Acts as an adulticide, larvicide, and ovicide, with ovicidal effects lasting up to three weeks after application. Monthly treatment of pregnant and lactating females helps prevent infestations in puppies for up to seven weeks. Can be used to treat flea allergy dermatitis and to control infestations in the environment.

- Heartworms (Dirofilaria immitis):
Monthly administration prevents the disease. Testing dogs older than six months for adult heartworms is recommended before starting treatment, especially in high-risk areas. Periodic testing of treated dogs is advised, as the product is not effective against adult forms of D. immitis.

- Ear Mites (Otodectes cynotis):
  Provides effective treatment for infestations.

- Blood-Sucking Lice (Trichodectes canis):
  Offers effective treatment.

- Sarcoptic Mange (Sarcoptes scabiei):
  Effective in treating infestations.

- Adult Roundworms (Toxocara canis):
  Provides treatment against adult forms.

Dosage and method of administration

- Apply topically to the skin at the base of the neck, in front of the shoulder blades.
- Administer a single application using a dosing unit that delivers at least 6 mg/kg of selamectin.
- If the animal has concurrent infections or infestations, a single dose of 6 mg/kg is administered once.

The treatment duration for parasites should follow the specific dosing table, which must be adhered to carefully.
