Species Swine.
Composition Each dose contains ≥ 105.5 TCID50 of Aujeszky virus, strain Begonia.
Indications

For the active immunization of pigs against Aujeszky's disease (Pseudorabies), to prevent mortality and clinical signs, and to reduce the replication of the Aujeszky's disease virus.

Installation of immunity: 3 weeks
Duration of immunity: 4 months.

Dosage and method of administration

Intramuscular administration:
The vaccine pellet is reconstituted with Diluvac Forte diluent (2 ml per dose). After reconstitution, administer 1 dose (2 ml of product) deep intramuscularly, at the level of the neck, behind the ear.


Intradermal administration:
Reconstitute the vaccine pellet with Diluvac Forte diluent (0.2 ml per dose). After reconstitution, administer 1 dose (0.2 ml of product) intradermally using an intradermal injection device.
The vaccine is reconstituted with the appropriate adjuvant diluent (Diluvac Forte).

Contraindications Do not use simultaneously with other live vaccines against Aujeszky's disease in the same farm.

Release form

a) Lyophilized vaccine:
Type 1 glass (hydrolytic) vials, closed with rubber stoppers (halogenobutyl) and sealed with coded aluminum caps, containing one lyophilized tablet of 10, 25, 50 or 100 doses of vaccine.

b) Diluent:
Type I or II PET or hydrolytic glass vials, closed with butyl rubber stoppers and sealed with an aluminum cap, containing 20, 50, 100 or 200 ml of diluent. The authorized packaging sizes are cardboard boxes with 1, 5 and 10 vials of the same content.
The diluent can be packaged together with the lyophilized vaccine or separately.

Storage conditions

Lyophilized vaccine:
Store in a refrigerator (2°C - 8°C). Do not freeze. Protect from light.

Diluent:
Store at temperatures below +25°C. Do not freeze.

Shelf life after reconstitution as directed:
8 hours at 2-8°C.

Shelf life

Lyophilized vaccine: 18 months at 2°C - 8°C
Diluent:
- Glass bottles: 4 years
- PET bottles: 2 years.

Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
