Vaccine Nobilis ILT
| Species | Poultry. |
|---|---|
| Composition | Live, lyophilized vaccine against infectious laryngotracheitis (ILT) in poultry. Each dose contains a minimum of 2.5 log10 EID50 of ILT virus – Serva strain, cultivated on SPF embryos. The lyophilized tablet includes a stabilizer and gentamicin sulfate. |
| Indications | For preventive vaccination, as well as for emergency vaccination of chicks and/or hens against ILT. |
| Dosage and method of administration |
Each bird is administered a minimum dose of 2.5 log10 EID50 via ocular application. Open the vial containing the lyophilized vaccine and the bottle of Oculo-Nasal diluent. Using the plastic connector of the diluent bottle, dissolve the lyophilized tablet and mix thoroughly. Attach the dropper to the bottle containing the vaccine solution. Vaccination is performed by instilling a single drop into one of the bird's eyes. To ensure proper flow and consistency of the drops, hold the bottle with the dropper facing downward. It is recommended to vaccinate susceptible birds at 4–6 weeks of age, with revaccination at 14–16 weeks. If necessary, vaccination can be performed later, but revaccination must occur at least one month before the onset of laying. In ILT epidemic areas, all birds should be vaccinated, even if they show no symptoms and are in very good clinical condition, to control the disease and minimize losses. No clinical symptoms are observed when double doses are administered. |
