Indications The Litterguard LT-C vaccine is recommended for the vaccination of healthy sows and gilts to transfer maternal antibodies to piglets through colostrum, providing protection against neonatal diarrhea caused by the beta toxin of Clostridium perfringens type C and enterotoxigenic strains of E. coli that produce heat-labile toxins. The vaccine contains the following adherence factors: K99, K88, 987P, and F41. The bacterial toxoids are prepared from chemically inactivated strains of E. coli and Clostridium perfringens type C beta toxoid. A sterile adjuvant is used to enhance the immune response.
