Vaccine Nobilis IB 4-91

Species Chickens.
Composition

Live attenuated virus of Avian Infectious Bronchitis (VBI), variant strain 4-91: ≥ 3.6 log10 EID50* per dose

*EID50: 50% infectious embryonic dose - the virus titer required to produce infection in 50% of inoculated embryos.

Lyophilized for ocular-nasal suspension/use in drinking water.
Bottle: colored pellet – nearly white/cream.
Cups: predominantly spherical shape, nearly white/cream.

Indications Active immunization of birds to reduce respiratory symptoms caused by infectious bronchitis produced by variant strain IB 4-91.
Dosage and method of administration

Administration of the Nobilis IB 4-91 vaccine can be done via aerosol spraying, ocular-nasal application, or in drinking water. The minimum required dose is at least 3.6 log10 EID50 (1 dose) per bird. If the number of birds exceeds the standard dose, the next higher dose should be used.

Methods of administration:

Aerosols:
- Preferably use distilled or clean cold water to reconstitute the vaccine.
- Spray evenly from a distance of 30-40 cm with large particles, preferably when the birds are grouped in semi-darkness.
- Water for aerosols: 250-400 ml for 1,000 doses.

Drinking water:
- Use 1 liter of water for each day of age per 1,000 doses (maximum 20 liters for 1,000 doses).
- In hot weather, the amount can increase to 40 liters.
- You can add 2 g of skim milk powder or 20 ml of cream to extend the vaccine's action.
- Administer in the morning or during cooler hours, and the water should be consumed within 1-2 hours.

Intran nasal/Ocular:
- Dissolve in saline or sterile distilled water and apply one drop in each nostril or eye.

Vaccination schedule:
- Revaccination is recommended every 6 weeks to extend immunity.
- The veterinarian will determine the appropriate vaccination schedule.

Precautions:
- Use the opened bottle immediately and completely.
- Compromised products (e.g., brown content adhering to the container) should not be used.

*Due to the low stability of the avian infectious bronchitis virus in suspension because of sensitivity to high temperatures and impurities, the water used to dissolve the lyophilized vaccine pellets must be cold and of good quality. Adding skim milk to drinking water extends the viability of the virus. Only skim milk should be used, as the presence of fats in whole milk can block automatic watering systems and reduce the effectiveness of the vaccine virus.*

Contraindications It is prohibited to vaccinate clinically sick and/or weakened birds.
Waiting period

Zero days.
