Fitosept ointment

Cattle (cows), equine (mares).

Composition

In 100 g of ointment, it contains:  
Active substances:  
- Calendula tincture - 20 ml  
- Sea buckthorn oil - 5 ml  

Excipients:  
- Vegetable-based ointment base, bee products, lanolin, and stabilizer.

Indications

Treatment and prevention of microtraumas, cracks, and erosions of the teats. Prevention of mastitis and hygienic care of the udder. Application on hands (gloves) during obstetric assistance.

Dosage and method of administration After milking and cleaning the udder, a small amount of Fitosept is applied to the skin of the teats in a thin layer and gently massaged (up to 1 cm when squeezed from the tube). The ointment is applied to the affected areas of the skin 1-2 times a day until the symptoms disappear. The ointment is applied to the wound using drains, gauze pads, or bandages, which should be changed every 1-2 days until complete healing.
Contraindications

Do not administer to animals with increased sensitivity to penicillins, cephalosporins, and to pregnant females.

Polymer tubes of 50, 90, 100, and 150 g.

Storage conditions Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children.
Shelf life

2 years from the date of production.

Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
