| Indications |
ASD fraction 3 is indicated for animals in the treatment of infected atonic wounds (with prolonged healing periods), dermatitis, chronic infectious processes of the skin and hooves, trophic ulcers, fistulas, infectious pododermatitis in sheep, and necrobacillosis. |
| Dosage and method of administration |
ASD-3F is indicated for animals externally, either undiluted or in oily solutions of 25-50%. The oily solutions are prepared in aseptic conditions using sterile oils such as castor, linseed, sunflower, or fish fat, into which sterilized ASD-3F is added and mixed thoroughly, in a ratio of 1:4 or 1:1. For treating infected atonic wounds and fistulas, the affected area is washed with a 15-20% solution of ASD-2F until the purulent exudate stops, and then a dressing (3 layers) soaked in a 25% ASD-3F oily solution is applied and fixed with a bandage. The dressing should be changed daily until healing. In the case of eczema, scabs, dermatitis, chronic inflammatory processes of the skin, pyoderma, and trophic ulcers, apply the 25-50% ASD-3F oily solution once a day on the affected surface and 2-3 cm of the surrounding tissue. The treatment should continue until healing but no more than 21 days. For extensive skin conditions, a 50% solution should be applied alternately on different areas, covering no more than 10% of the animal's body surface in a single treatment. In the case of infectious pododermatitis in sheep and necrobacillosis, clean the affected surfaces and then apply undiluted ASD-3F once a day. A combined treatment with specific and symptomatic therapy should be followed until symptoms disappear, but not exceeding 28 days. Recommendations for correct administration: It is recommended to adhere to the prescribed concentrations and intervals to maintain the effectiveness of the medication. If a dose is missed, administer it as soon as possible in the same dose according to the same schedule. |
| Contraindications |
It should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances. |
