Each tablet contains:
Active substances: Milbemycin oxime 12.5 mg, Praziquantel 125.0 mg.

Indications

Dogs: Treatment of mixed infestations caused by adult cestodes and nematodes of the following species:

Cestodes: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp.
Nematodes: Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis, Crenosoma vulpis (reduction of infestation level), Angiostrongylus vasorum (reduction of infestation level with immature adult (L5) and adult parasites), Thelazia callipaeda.

The product can also be used for the prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis) if concomitant treatment against cestodes is required.

Dosage and method of administration

Oral administration.
To ensure correct dosing, it is recommended to weigh the cats.
Minimum recommended dose: 2 mg milbemycin oxime and 5 mg praziquantel per kg of body weight, once daily, via oral administration.
Depending on the cat’s body weight, the recommended dose is as follows:

Body weight Number of tablets
5 – 25 1
>25 – 50 2
>50 – 75 3

In cases where prophylactic treatment against heartworm disease is administered and, at the same time, treatment against cestodes is required, the product can replace the monovalent product for heartworm disease prophylaxis.

For the treatment of Angiostrongylus vasorum infestation, milbemycin oxime can be administered four times at weekly intervals. In cases where concomitant treatment against cestodes is indicated, it is recommended to administer the product once, after which treatment should continue with a monovalent product containing only milbemycin oxime for the remaining three weeks.

In endemic areas, regular administration of the product every 4 weeks will prevent angiostrongylosis by reducing the number of immature adults (L5) and patent infestations, when concomitant treatment against cestodes is indicated.

For the treatment of Thelazia callipaeda infestation, milbemycin oxime should be administered in two treatment series, 7 days apart. If concomitant treatment against cestodes is required, the product can replace the monovalent product containing only milbemycin oxime.
