Composition

FEBTAL oral tablets (Febtal tablets)
International Nonproprietary Name (INN): Fenbendazole.

The pharmaceutical preparation contains, as the active substance, in 1 tablet:

Fenbendazole 150 mg
And excipients: Lactose, Calcium stearate, Potato starch.

Indications FEBTAL tablets are administered to dogs, and cats for preventive and therapeutic purposes in cases of nematodoses and cestodoses.
Dosage and method of administration

FEBTAL tablets are administered orally, as a single dose, in the following doses:

-Adult dogs and cats: In case of toxocariasis, toxascaridosis, ancylostomiasis, uncinariosis, dipylidiosis, and taeniasis: 1 tablet/1.5 kg body weight.

-Puppies and kittens (over 3 weeks old): In case of toxocariasis, toxascaridosis, ancylostomiasis, uncinariosis, dipylidiosis, and taeniasis: administered once a day for 3 consecutive days, at a dose of 1 tablet/3 kg body weight.

Contraindications

The contraindications for administering FEBTAL tablets include increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the preparation. The product should not be administered to weakened animals or those suffering from infectious diseases, as well as to puppies and kittens under 3 weeks of age.

Release form FEBTAL is produced in blisters of 3 and 6 tablets, made of polymer film and aluminum foil.
Storage conditions Store the FEBTAL tablets in the manufacturer's sealed packaging, protected from direct sunlight, separate from food and feed, at a temperature between 0°C and 25°C, in a place inaccessible to children.
Shelf life 3 years from the date of manufacture. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
