Indications |
For the treatment and control of gastrointestinal, pulmonary, and ocular nematodoses, hypodermosis, lice infestations, mange, and ticks. Adults Ocular nematodes (adults): Hypodermosis (larval stages): Sucking lice: Mange mites: The product can be used as an aid in controlling nematodosis caused by Nematodirus helvetianus, infestations with biting lice (Damalinia bovis), ticks (Ixodes ricinus), and mange mites (Chorioptes bovis).

Dosage and method of administration |
For the treatment and control of gastrointestinal nematodoses, pulmonary nematodoses, ocular nematodoses, hypodermosis, lice infestations, and mange mites in cattle; for the treatment of gastrointestinal nematodoses and oestrosis in sheep: a single treatment with 1 ml (10 mg Doramectin) per 50 kg of body weight, equivalent to 200 mcg/kg of body weight, administered subcutaneously in the neck region in cattle and intramuscularly in sheep. For the treatment of clinical signs of mange caused by Psoroptes ovis and the elimination of mites in sheep: a single treatment with 1 ml per 33 kg of body weight, equivalent to 300 mcg/kg of body weight, administered in the neck region via intramuscular injection. Additionally, biosecurity measures must be implemented to prevent reinfestation. It is important that all sheep that have been in contact with infested sheep are treated. For the treatment of mange caused by Sarcoptes scabiei, gastrointestinal nematodoses, pulmonary nematodoses, renal helminthoses, and sucking lice infestations in swine: a single treatment with 1 ml per 33 kg of body weight, equivalent to 300 mcg/kg of body weight, administered via intramuscular injection. For piglets with a body weight of 16 kg or less, dosing should be done according to the table below:
If animals are to be treated collectively, they should be grouped according to body weight and dosed appropriately to avoid underdosing and overdosing. Maximum injectable volume for each target species: The product can be used with injectable equipment featuring an automatic draw-off ventilated dosing system. Rubber stoppers must not be punctured more than once. |
