| Composition |
A homogeneous gelatinous white mass. 1 ml contains: 4 mg of ivermectin and excipients up to 1 ml: tylosis, Tween-80, and distilled water. The active substance of the preparation – ivermectin (ATC-vet QP54AA, avermectin (ATC-vet QP544AA01, ivermectin)) – is part of the macrolide lactones group, blocking nerve signal transmission, leading to paralysis and death of parasites. |
| Indications |
It is recommended for the treatment and prevention of parasitic diseases in horses caused by the following nematodes: Gastrointestinal nematodes: Ascaridae, Strongylidae, Strongyloididae, Oxyurata, Trichonematidae, Spiruridae. Pulmonary nematodes: Dictyocaulus spp. Cutaneous nematodes: Parafilaria multipapillosa, Onchocerca cervicalis. Larvae: Gasterophilus spp. |
| Dosage and method of administration |
1 ml/20 kg body weight. The preparation is administered using a dosing syringe at the base of the tongue, as a single dose. |
| Contraindications | Administration is not recommended for foals up to 4 months of age. |
| Waiting period | After deworming, slaughter is allowed no earlier than 28 days after the last administration. In case of slaughter before the expiration of this period, the carcasses are used for feeding carnivores or for producing meat and bone meal. |
| Release form | Plastic dosing syringe of 20 or 30 ml. |
| Storage conditions | Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at a temperature between +1°C and +20°C, in a place inaccessible to children. |
