| Indications |
Deworming of cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs, and birds (chickens, geese, turkeys, pigeons) in cases of gastrointestinal or pulmonary nematode infestations caused by: -Cattle, sheep: Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Bunostomum spp., Trichuris spp., Strongyloides spp., Dictyocaulus spp. -Pigs: Ascaris suum, Oesophagostomum spp., Trichuris spp., Strongyloides spp., Hyostrongylus spp., Metastrongylus spp. -Birds (chickens, geese, turkeys, pigeons): Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinarum, Capillaria spp., Trichostrongylus spp. |
| Dosage and method of administration |
-Cattle: Subcutaneously (laterally, at the neck) or intramuscularly (in the anconeus region of the forearm) at a dose of 1 ml/10 kg body weight, but not more than 30 ml per animal per administration. Doses greater than 15 ml should be divided into two parts and administered at two different points. -Pigs: Subcutaneously (behind the ear) or intramuscularly at a dose of 1 ml/10 kg body weight up to a weight of 150 kg, and for every additional 50 kg, administer 2.5 ml, a single dose. Doses greater than 10 ml should be divided into two parts and administered at different points. -Sheep: Subcutaneously, once, at a dose of 1 ml/10 kg body weight. For animals weighing more than 50 kg, administer 6 ml, once. -Birds: Orally, in drinking water, at a dose of 3-4 ml/10 kg body weight, once or divided and administered over 3-4 days. |
| Contraindications |
Do not administer to females in the last trimester of pregnancy, laying hens, weakened and sick animals (with hepatic and renal dysfunctions). Do not use in combination with organophosphorus compounds, pyrantel, morantel, and neostigmine. Brovalevamisol 8% should be administered with caution to animals after vaccinations, dehorning, and castration. |
| Waiting period |
Slaughter of animals and birds for human consumption is allowed 7 days after the last administration. It is not applicable to laying hens or animals whose milk is intended for human consumption. Products obtained before the expiration date are used for feeding carnivores or for producing meat and bone meal, and the milk is given to non-productive animals. |
