Brovalevamisol 8% – powder for internal use, which in 1 g contains: levamisole hydrochloride - 80 mg and excipients. |
| Indications |
Deworming of cattle, sheep, pigs and birds (chickens, geese, turkeys, grouse) in case of gastrointestinal or pulmonary nematode invasions caused by: • cattle, sheep: Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Bunostomum spp., Trichurus spp., Strongyloides spp., Dictyocaulus spp.; • pigs: Ascaris suum, Oesophagostomum spp., Trichuris spp., Strongyloides spp., Hystrongylus spp., Metastrongylus spp.; • birds (poultry, geese, turkeys, pigeons): Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinarum, Capillaria spp., Trichostrongylus spp. |
| Dosage and method of administration |
Cattle, sheep, pigs- 1 time, orally with water or food, in a dose of 1 g/10 kg body weight. Poultry - orally with water in a dose of 3-4 g/10 kg body mass, 1 time or in several doses for 3-4 days. |
| Contraindications |
Do not administer to females in the last trimester of gestation, layers and sick animals (liver and kidney function disorders). It is not used in combination with organophosphorus preparations and pyrantel, morantel, neostigmine. With caution, Brovalevamisol 8% powder is administered to animals after vaccinations, dehorning and castration. |
| Waiting period |
Slaughter of animals and poultries for human consumption - more than 7 days after the last administration. Not for use in animals from which milk or eggs are produced for human consumption. |
