Azinox for dogs and cats (tablets)

1 tablet contains 50 mg of praziquantel as the active substance and excipients: lactose and potato starch.

Indications Azinox for dogs and cats is used for the prevention and treatment of diseases caused by cestodes (dipylidiosis, diphyllobothriasis, mesocestoidiasis, taeniasis, including echinococcosis).
Dosage and method of administration Azinox for dogs and cats is administered individually, as a single oral dose, at a rate of 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight, with a small amount of food in the morning. Cats and dogs weighing less than 5 kg are treated with a suspension made from ½ crushed tablet and 5 ml of water. The mixture is homogenized and administered orally with a needleless syringe, at a dose of 1 ml per 1 kg of body weight. Fasting or the use of laxatives beforehand is not necessary. For therapeutic purposes, deworming is done as indicated, and for preventive purposes, quarterly, at the therapeutic dose.
Contraindications Increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the preparation (including in medical history), hepatic and renal dysfunctions. Do not deworm weakened animals, those with infectious diseases, or puppies and kittens under 3 weeks of age.
Waiting period It's not the case.
Release form The preparation is produced in blisters of 3 and 6 tablets, made of polymer film and aluminum foil.
Storage conditions

Store in the manufacturer’s sealed packaging, in a place protected from direct sunlight, separate from food and feed, at a temperature between 0°C and 25°C, in a place inaccessible to children.

Since the tablet can be halved, the remaining part should be kept in the blister until the next deworming, but no longer than 3 months after opening.

Shelf life 3 years from the date of manufacture. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
