Composition

1 ml contains:  
Active substances
- Megestrol acetate – 1.0 mg  
- Proroxan – 16,5 mg  
- Melatonin – 110.0 mg  

Adjuvants
- Triacetin  
- Isopropylidene glycerol  
- N,N-diethyltoluamide  
- PEG-tocopherol  
- Stearic acid  
- PEG-lanolin  
- N-methyl-N-(galacto-2,3,4,5,6-pentahydroxyhexyl)-octadecanamide  
- Anhydrous panthenol  
- Orthosilicate 3-(octadecyloxy)-1,2-propanediol

Indications

The preparation Ovostop-K is administered to male cats and dogs to reduce libido and correct unwanted behavior (increased aggression, vocalization, seeking a sexual partner, territory marking).

Dosage and method of administration

The administration of Ovostop-K is contraindicated in animals with reproductive system diseases, diabetes mellitus, hormonal dysfunctions, allergic reactions, lymphoma, autoimmune diseases, lymphogranulomatosis, leukemia, myeloma, epilepsy, chronic renal insufficiency, and increased individual sensitivity.  

Ovostop-K is applied once in the evening by dripping onto the animal’s dry and intact skin, in the region between the shoulder blades or at the base of the skull, at a dose of 1 ml per male cat, regardless of its weight. For dogs, depending on body weight, the appropriate volume packaging or combination is selected, applied in the doses indicated in the table.

In case of ineffectiveness within 24 hours, the preparation is reapplied at the same dose.  
Bathing the animal is not recommended for 48 hours before and after treatment, nor should the preparation be applied to wet or damaged skin.  
The effect of a single administration lasts longer (up to 4–6 months) during short daylight periods (autumn-winter) and in young animals; during long daylight periods (spring-summer), the effect lasts 3–4 months.  

Contraindications The administration of Ovostop-K is contraindicated in animals with reproductive system diseases, diabetes mellitus, hormonal dysfunctions, allergic reactions, lymphoma, autoimmune diseases, lymphogranulomatosis, leukemia, myeloma, epilepsy, chronic renal insufficiency, and increased individual sensitivity.

Release form The preparation is produced in volumes of 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 ml, in the following packaging forms:  
- Polymer dropper pipettes and polymer tubes with a “swift off” cap, packaged in 1, 2, 3, or 4 pieces in cardboard boxes, blisters, or containers made of combined materials;  
- Polymer dropper bottles, packaged individually.
Storage conditions Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children.
Shelf life

2 years from the date of production.

Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
