Composition

1 ml contains:  
- Active ingredients:  
  - Caffeine – 75 mg  
  - Sodium benzoate – 120 mg
 
- Excipients:  
  - Dibasic sodium phosphate dodecahydrate  
  - Citric acid  
  - Water for injectable preparations

Indications

Treatment of horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, and cats in the following cases:  
- Animals exhausted from effort;  
- Prolonged convalescence states and asthenia;  
- Septic conditions and shock;  
- Overexertion after laborious births or dystocia;  
- Spasms;  
- Heart failure;  
- Food or drug poisoning.

Dosage and method of administration

The medicinal product Caffeine Benzoate 20% Injectable Solution is administered subcutaneously in the following doses (ml):  

Species Dose (ml)
Horses, cattle 10 – 25
Swine, sheep, goats 2 – 7
Dogs 0,5 – 1,5
Cats 0,2 – 0,5

- Oral administration: Can be administered orally at double the subcutaneous dose.  
- Repetition: If necessary, administration may be repeated 2-3 times, with an interval of 7 hours between administrations.  

Recommendations for correct administration 
- Do not use Caffeine Benzoate 20% Injectable Solution if visible signs of deterioration are observed.  

Contraindications Do not administer to animals with increased sensitivity to penicillins, cephalosporins and pregnant females.

- Glass or polymer vials: 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, and 250 ml.

Storage conditions

Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at a temperature of 5°C to +25°C, in places inaccessible to children.  
After opening the primary packaging, store at temperatures between +3°C and +12°C. Do not freeze!  

Shelf life

2 years from the date of production.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
