Species Cattle, pigs.
Composition

Each ml of product contains 100 mg of marbofloxacin.

Indications

Cattle. In the treatment of respiratory infections caused by species of Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica, Mycoplasma bovis and in the treatment of acute mastitis caused by species of Escherichia coli sensitive to marbofloxacin, during lactation.

Pigs. In the treatment of Metritis Mastitis Agalaxia Syndrome (MMA), produced by germs sensitive to marbofloxacin.

Dosage and method of administration

Cattle. For the treatment of respiratory infections, the recommended dose is 2 mg marbofloxacin / kg body weight / day (1 ml product per 50 kg body weight), once a day, subcutaneously or intramuscularly, for 3 to 5 days. For the treatment of acute mastitis, the recommended dose is 2 mg marbofloxacin / kg body weight / day (1 ml product per 50 kg body weight), once a day, subcutaneously or intramuscularly, for 3 consecutive days. In cattle, the route of subcutaneous administration has been shown to be better tolerated than intramuscularly.

Pigs. The recommended dose is 2 mg marbofloxacin / kg body weight / day (1 ml product per 50 kg body weight) once a day, intramuscularly, for 3 consecutive days.

The injection is given in the neck area.

Contraindications

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Pigs (meat and organs) 3 days

Cattle (Milk) 36 hours

Release form

Brown polypropylene bottles x 100 ml, closed with a bromobutyl rubber stopper and sealed with an aluminum cap.

Storage conditions Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children.
Shelf life

2 years from the date of production, from the first opening – 28 days.

Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
