| Indications | Iris eye drops are administered to dogs and cats for both curative and preventive purposes in cases of acute and chronic conjunctivitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, corneal ulcers and erosions, meibomitis, blepharitis, and iridocyclitis (uveitis), as well as to reduce the risk of ocular infections in cases of foreign body penetration or other irritating agents in the eye. | ||||||||
| Dosage and method of administration |
For curative purposes, Iris eye drops are instilled into the conjunctival sac 4 times a day for 7-10 consecutive days, in the doses indicated in the table.
In the case of acute purulent processes, administer 3-4 drops into the affected eye, and use a cotton pad to remove the pus, then administer 1-2 more drops. This procedure is repeated 3-4 times a day, depending on the case, for a period of 5-7 days. For the prevention of complications after foreign body removal from the eye and other irritants, administer 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 4 times a day for 3 days. |

| Contraindications | Administration of Iris Ophthalmic Drops is prohibited in cases of increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the active substance and/or to the excipients of the medication. | ||||||||
