| Indications |
Giraxa is used in pigs, calves, and poultry for therapeutic and curative-metaphylactic purposes in cases of colibacillosis, salmonellosis, and other bacterial gastrointestinal diseases caused by pathogens sensitive to colistin sulfate. |
| Dosage and method of administration |
- Calves and pigs: 5-8 g of powder per 100 kg body weight (divided into 2 doses). Duration of treatment: When using the group administration method, animals and poultry should receive only medicated water throughout the treatment period. A fresh solution must be prepared daily. | Contraindications |
Increased individual sensitivity of animals to tiamulin and tetracyclines. |
| Waiting period | Slaughtering of pigs, calves, and poultry for meat is allowed no earlier than 48 hours after the last administration of the medication. Laying hen eggs can be used for food without restrictions. Meat from animals and poultry that were forcibly slaughtered during the treatment period must not be consumed. |
