Composition Each 100 g of powder contains:  
Active substance: Colistin sulfate 120,000,000 IU.  
Excipients:  
- Lactose monohydrate
Indications

Giraxa is used in pigs, calves, and poultry for therapeutic and curative-metaphylactic purposes in cases of colibacillosis, salmonellosis, and other bacterial gastrointestinal diseases caused by pathogens sensitive to colistin sulfate.

Dosage and method of administration

- Calves and pigs: 5-8 g of powder per 100 kg body weight (divided into 2 doses).  
- Poultry: 5-8 g of powder per 10 liters of drinking water.  

Duration of treatment:
- Animals and poultry: 3 days.  
- For salmonellosis: 5 days.  

When using the group administration method, animals and poultry should receive only medicated water throughout the treatment period. A fresh solution must be prepared daily.  

Administration method:  
Giraxa is administered individually or in groups, orally, with drinking water.

Contraindications

Increased individual sensitivity of animals to tiamulin and tetracyclines.
Administration is not recommended for animals with hepatic or renal insufficiency.

Waiting period Slaughtering of pigs, calves, and poultry for meat is allowed no earlier than 48 hours after the last administration of the medication. Laying hen eggs can be used for food without restrictions. Meat from animals and poultry that were forcibly slaughtered during the treatment period must not be consumed.
Release form

100 g or 1000 g sachets made of heat-sealed foil.

Storage conditions Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children.
Shelf life

Shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product under proper storage conditions: 3 years from the manufacturing date.  
Shelf life after first opening of the primary packaging: 4 months.  
Shelf life after dissolution in drinking water: 18 hours.

Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
