Composition

1 ml of injectable solution contains:  
Active substance:  
Florfenicol - 300 mg  

List of excipients:  
Dimethyl sulfoxide, Propylene glycol, Macrogol 400  

Indications

The medication is recommended for cattle and swine in the treatment of the following conditions caused by microorganisms sensitive to the active substance:

Cattle:
- Respiratory tract infections (Pasteurella haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Haemophilus somnus)  
- Interdigital necrobacillosis (Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus)  
- Keratoconjunctival infections (Moraxella bovis)

Swine:
- Respiratory tract infections caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Haemophilus parasuis, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Mycoplasma hyorhinis, Salmonella choleraesuis, and Streptococcus suis.

Dosage and method of administration

Administer intramuscularly or subcutaneously, in the neck area, at the following doses:

Cattle:
- Intramuscular dose: 20 mg florfenicol/kg body weight (equivalent to 1 ml/15 kg body weight) twice, at an interval of 48 hours.  
- Subcutaneously, the medication can be administered in a single dose of 40 mg florfenicol/kg body weight (equivalent to 2 ml/15 kg body weight).

Swine:
- The dose is 15 mg florfenicol/kg body weight (equivalent to 1 ml/20 kg body weight) twice, intramuscularly, at an interval of 48 hours.

The volume of the dose administered at a single injection site should not exceed 10 ml for both routes of administration (intramuscular and subcutaneous). To ensure correct dosing, the body weight of the animals must be determined as accurately as possible to avoid underdosing.

Contraindications Do not administer to animals with a known hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Waiting period

Cattle:
- Meat and organs: 30 days after intramuscular administration.  
- 44 days after subcutaneous administration.  
- Not authorized for use in animals producing milk for human consumption.

Swine:
- Meat and organs: 14 days.

Release form Amber-colored Type I glass vials, sealed with a rubber stopper and aluminum cap, available in the following sizes: 50, 100, 250 ml.
Storage conditions Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children.
Shelf life

3 years from the date of production, from the first opening – 28 days.

Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
