Dosage and method of administration

Chickens and turkeys:
The recommended dose is 10 mg of enrofloxacin per kg of body weight per day, administered for 3–5 consecutive days.
Treatment is administered for 3–5 consecutive days, and for mixed infections and chronic progressive forms, a duration of 5 days is recommended. If no clinical improvement is observed within 2–3 days, an alternative antimicrobial therapy based on sensitivity testing should be used.
The medication is administered in drinking water, and to ensure the correct dose, it must be confirmed that the birds consume the entire dose of the medicinal product.

Drinking water should be medicated daily, and throughout the treatment period, only medicated water should be provided.
To avoid underdosing, the weight of the birds should be determined as accurately as possible.
The solution must be prepared daily before administration, and pumping systems should be constantly checked to ensure proper delivery of the medication. Before starting treatment, the watering system must be emptied and refilled with medicated water.
The daily required amount of product (ml) for treatment is calculated as follows:
Total number of birds x average body weight (kg) x 0.1 = total volume (ml) per day.
The product can be added directly to the water tank or administered in fractions using a water pump.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION
- Pumping systems must be constantly checked to ensure accurate delivery of the medication.
- Before initiating treatment, the watering system must be emptied and then filled with medicated water.
