| Composition | Injectable suspension. In 1 ml of the preparation, the active substance contains 140 mg of amoxicillin (in the form of amoxicillin trihydrate), 35 mg of clavulanic acid (in the form of potassium clavulanate) and adjuvants: butylhydroxytoluene and propylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate up to 1 ml. |
| Indications | Cattle in the treatment of respiratory diseases of bacterial etiology, gynecological diseases (metritis) and mastitis, surgical diseases, including soft tissue infections (abscesses, phlegmons, boils); Pigs in the treatment of infectious diseases of the respiratory organs, colibacteriosis, puerperal infections in sows (metritis, mastitis, agalaxia); Dogs and cats in the treatment of diseases of the respiratory organs, urological infections, diseases of the skin and soft tissues (abscesses, pyoderma, inflammation of the perianal glands, gingivitis). |
| Dosage and method of administration | Amoxigard is administered in a dose of 1 ml per 20 kg of the animal's body weight. The preparation is administered once a day, the cure being 3-5 days. Before administration, shake the bottle well until complete homogenization. The preparation is administered intramuscularly or subcutaneously to dogs and cats, and to cattle and pigs only intramuscularly. The injection site, after administration, is recommended to be massaged. Dry needles and syringes are used for administration. |
| Contraindications | Administration of the Amoxigard preparation is contraindicated in case of increased individual sensitivity to β-lactam antibiotics. |
| Waiting period |
Milk can be used for food purposes no earlier than 108 hours after the last treatment. Milk obtained before the expiration of the deadline can be used in animal feed only after thermal processing. The slaughter of cattle for human consumption is allowed no earlier than 42 days, and of pigs - more than 31 days after the last administration of Amoxigard. Carcasses obtained before the expiry of the deadline can be used in the feed of fur animals. |
| Release form | The Amoxigard preparation is produced packaged in glass bottles of 20, 50 and 100 ml, or in polymer bottles of the corresponding volume, as well as in glass bottles of 250 ml, with rubber stoppers and aluminum caps. |
| Storage conditions | Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children. |
| Shelf life |
2 years from the date of production, from the first opening – 28 days. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. |
