- Chickens: Administer in drinking water.

Recommended doses:
- Chickens: The recommended dose is 16 mg amoxicillin trihydrate/kg body weight/day (equivalent to 14 mg amoxicillin/kg body weight or 20 mg product/kg body weight), administered in drinking water for 3-5 days.
- Pigs: The recommended dose is 16 mg amoxicillin trihydrate/kg body weight/day (equivalent to 14 mg amoxicillin/kg body weight or 20 mg product/kg body weight), administered for 3-5 days.

Instructions for preparing medicated water:
For preparing medicated drinking water, consider:
- The body weight of the animals to be treated.
- The daily water intake, which may vary depending on species, age, health status, breed, and management system (e.g., different temperatures and lighting regimes).

Formula for calculating the required amount of medication:
Medicated water concentration (mg/l) = (Dose (mg/kg/day) × Average animal weight (kg)) / Average daily water intake (l).
For accurate dosing, the body weight must be determined as precisely as possible to avoid underdosing. For administering the calculated amount of medication, calibrated scales are recommended.

Administration once daily:
It is recommended to administer the medication once daily in the drinking water for a limited time. Restrict access to water for about two hours (less in hot periods) before medication administration. Sprinkle the calculated daily amount of powder over the surface of 5-10 liters of water in a container. Mix thoroughly until the powder dissolves. This solution should be mixed through agitation into the drinking water to be consumed in about 2 hours.

The maximum solubility of the medication in water is approximately 8 g/l at room temperature (about 20°C). The maximum solubility may decrease significantly at lower temperatures. Complete dissolution of the powder must be ensured.

Continuous treatment:
Preparing the medicated water should ensure an amount of medication that will be consumed within the next 12 hours. Any unused medicated water should be discarded after 12 hours, and fresh medicated water should be prepared for the next 12 hours. The maximum concentration of pre-diluted medicated water is approximately 8 g/l at room temperature (about 20°C). The maximum solubility may decrease significantly at lower temperatures. Complete dissolution of the powder must be ensured.

At target species, water intake may vary due to various factors, including environmental temperature, age, and type of feed.

Administration in feed:
For pigs, the medication can also be administered in feed at the recommended daily dose. This method is intended only for the individual treatment of pigs in farms where a small number of pigs need treatment. Only the 100 g package is suitable for administration in feed.
