Indications It is indicated for the preventive immunization of clinically healthy rabbits against rabbit myxomatosis.
Dosage and method of administration

Myxoren – live lyophilized vaccine against myxomatosis in rabbits can be administered:
1) Subcutaneous.
2) Transdermal (stick method).
3) Intradermal with device of 0.1 ml dose.
4) Intradermal with device of 0.2 ml dose.
Dilute the freeze-dried vaccine in the diluent that comes with the vaccine.

1) For subcutaneous administration, the diluent is in the amount of 1 ml/dose, i.e.:
- 20 ml of diluent for 20 doses;
- 10 ml of diluent for 10 doses.
The administration is carried out in the cervical subcutaneous folds.

2) Transdermal administration involves the amount of diluent of 0.8 ml and 1.5 ml for 50 doses and 100 doses respectively. The vaccine dose is represented by the volume of vaccine contained in the holes of the two needles of the applicator. When the vaccination is done transdermally with the two-needle applicator, the following protocol is followed:
- remove the staple and stopper from the vaccine and diluent bottles;
- dilute the lyophilized vaccine in a small amount of diluent and then transfer it to the diluent bottle to ensure the necessary volume per vaccine dose;
- it is administered by piercing the ear through the internal part, in the upper third devoid of hair so that the holes of the needles completely penetrate the ear, the penetration of the blood vessels is avoided.
- the injection area is not disinfected!
If the needles were not sufficiently immersed in the vaccine, the vaccination is not carried out and the unadministered vaccine is never re-immersed in the bottle. Do not use hot needles, do not chemically disinfect the needle device and the injection site. Needles can only be sterilized by boiling or bending.

3) It is injected intradermally with a special device without a needle, 0.1-0.2 ml each. The intradermal injection is performed following the protocol:
- remove the staple and stopper from the vaccine and diluent bottles;
- dilute the vaccine with the necessary amount of diluent and connect it to the device without a needle.
- it is administered in the dermal layer in the cervical or pelvic region by bringing the device closer to the skin and pressing the button.
- before the procedure, the nozzle is checked, in case of reduction of the jet or its absence, the nozzle is washed to remove the obstruction.

The vaccine dose corresponds to the method of administration and is identical for all rabbits regardless of weight.
Vaccination is done from the age of 10 weeks, immunity is established for 6 months. Maternal antibodies inhibit the vaccine virus, so the minimum age for vaccination is 4 weeks. If the rabbits were vaccinated under 10 weeks of age, after 6 weeks they are revaccinated and immunity is maintained for 6 months. The next reminder
it will be over 6 months. We recommend 2 vaccinations per year - spring and revaccination - in the summer for breeding stock and in unfavorable areas.

Contraindications Do not vaccinate sick animals showing clinical symptoms.
Waiting period

Zero days.
