| Indications | Rhodotium 80% is indicated for curative and curative-preventive purposes in pigs in case of enzootic pneumonia, actinobacillary pleuropneumonia, dysentery, proliferative enteropathy (ileitis) and intestinal spirochetosis; also for the prevention of secondary bacterial infections in case of viral infections. |
| Dosage and method of administration |
Rhodotium 80% is administered to pigs mixed with feed, either individually or in groups, as follows: - For respiratory diseases (enzootic pneumonia, pleuropneumonia): 0.25 kg/t feed (10 mg tiamulin/kg body weight) for 10 days. For the uniform homogenization of the preparation in the feed, the required amount of Rhodotium 80% is first homogenized with feed in a ratio of 1:7, then the obtained mixture (of 10%) is homogenized with 10 kg, 100 kg and 900 kg of compound feed. |
| Contraindications | Contraindications for the administration of the preparation Rhodotium 80% may include the increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the preparation. Do not administer the preparation to animals with renal or hepatic insufficiency. |
| Waiting period | Slaughter of animals for human consumption is allowed no earlier than 5 days after the last administration of the preparation Rhodotium 80%. Carcasses obtained before the expiry of the deadline can be used in the feed of fur animals. |
| Release form | Rhodotium 80% is produced in packs of 150 g and 1000 g in aluminum foil packs, and in packs of 5 kg, 10 kg, 20 kg and 25 kg in polyethylene bags, packed in wood fiber drums or paper bags of appropriate volume. |
