Cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, rabbits, dogs and cats.

Composition The Septogel preparation contains, as an active substance, povidone iodine 65 mg/ml and excipients.
Indications Septogel is indicated in the treatment of various forms of mastitis in cows, postoperative complications, diseases of the skin and mucous tunics (keratitis, conjunctivitis and vaginitis) in animals.
Dosage and method of administration

In the treatment of mastitis in cows, Septogel is administered intramammary, in the affected quarter, 10 ml each:
- In subclinical and catarrhal mastitis, 1-3 times a day, with an interval of 12 hours.
- In fibrinous and purulent mastitis, until recovery (but not more than 10 administrations) with an interval of 12 hours.

For the prophylactic purpose of mastitis in cows during the mammary rest period, after the last milking, 10 ml in each teat.

Prior to the administration of the Septogel preparation, the affected quarter is freed from its contents and the nipple is disinfected. The length of the syringe is inserted into the hole of the nipple and, gently pressing the piston, the entire content is administered, then the respective quarter is massaged with downward and upward movements.

In the treatment of skin diseases, mucous tunics and postoperative complications, Septogel is applied locally: on fresh, superficial wounds, sprouts, cracks, on postoperative sutures, in infected wounds and vaginitis. Septogel is applied to the affected surface in a thin layer, 1-2 times a day, for 3-5 days.

- In the case of purulent diseases of the skin and soft tissues (boils, abscesses, phlegmons), after the evacuation of the contents and the cleaning of the cavities, plastering is carried out with the preparation Septogel.

Contraindications Hyperthyroidism, increased individual sensitivity to iodine (including in the anamnesis) and other components of the preparation.
Waiting period During treatment, milk from the affected quarter is milked in a separate container, decontaminated and discarded; from the other quarters it is used in animal feed after boiling. In human consumption, milk is given after the animal's recovery, confirmed with the test result. The carcasses are used for human consumption without restrictions.
Release form Disposable or special syringe of 10 ml, with extension for intramammary administration and protective cap; available in 10, 20 and 30 ml polymer tubes with secure membrane and screw cap.
Storage conditions Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children.
Shelf life

18 months from the date of production, from the first opening – 60 days.

Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
