| Indications |
Ceftiosan is indicated for therapeutic purposes: - Cattle: for infectious diseases of the respiratory organs, necrobacteriosis and acute postpartum endometritis. |
| Dosage and method of administration |
Ceftiosan is administered parenterally, once a day, as follows: - Cattle: Subcutaneous, in a dose of 1 ml/50 kg body weight (1 mg ceftiofur per 1 kg body weight), for respiratory diseases for 3-5 days, in necrobacteriosis for 3 days, and in endometritis for 5 days. Shake before administration to homogenize the suspension. It is recommended to follow the administration schedules in order not to reduce the effectiveness of the medicine. In case of missing a dose, administration is resumed as soon as possible, in the same dose and according to the same schedule. |
| Contraindications | Increased individual sensitivity to β-lactam antibiotics. |
| Waiting period | Slaughter animals for human consumption is allowed no earlier than over; Cattle 8 days, milk 0 days. Pigs 6 days. |
| Release form | Primary packaging: Brown glass bottles of 100 ml, closed with a rubber stopper and sealed with an aluminum or combination cap. |
| Storage conditions | Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children. |

2 years from the date of production, from the first opening – 28 days. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. |
