BARS Eye Drops (Guttae ophthalmicae BARS)

International Nonproprietary Names of active substances: chloramphenicol, nitrofural.

The eye drops are presented as a transparent yellow-green solution.

Indications BARS eye drops are indicated for dogs, cats, and ornamental rabbits for the treatment and prevention of conjunctivitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, and acute and chronic blepharitis, as part of the complex treatment of viral eye diseases, as well as for cleaning and disinfecting wounds of the conjunctiva and eyelids, and for preventing infectious eye diseases following trauma or foreign body entry.
Dosage and method of administration

Before administering the product, clean the eye with a gauze pad soaked in the solution to cleanse and disinfect conjunctival and eyelid wounds and to remove serous, purulent, and sero-purulent secretions. Then, apply BARS eye drops to the conjunctival sac, 1-2 drops, 3-4 times a day, for 7-14 days.

For preventive purposes, eye hygiene should be performed once a day with a gauze pad soaked in the solution. To prevent infections after eye injuries, apply BARS eye drops to the conjunctival sac in doses of 3-4 drops, 2-3 times a day, for 1-2 days.

Contraindications Contraindications for administration include increased individual sensitivity of animals to the components of the product.

Storage conditions Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children.
Shelf life

The shelf life of the product in the manufacturer's sealed packaging, under proper storage conditions, is 2 years from the date of manufacture.

After opening the bottle, the shelf life is 30 days.

The use of the product after the expiration date is prohibited.
