Azitronit

Each 1 ml contains the active substance azithromycin (as dihydrate) – 100 mg.  
Excipients: propylene glycol, sodium citrate, benzyl alcohol, citric acid, and water for injection up to 1 ml.

Azitronit is used in cattle, sheep, and swine for the treatment of bacterial infections of the respiratory, digestive, and urogenital systems, as well as skin and soft tissue infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to azithromycin. It is also used for the treatment of necrobacillosis, porcine erysipelas, spirochetosis, and mycoplasmal infections.

Azitronit is administered intramuscularly to cattle, sheep, and swine at a dose of 1 ml per 20 kg body weight (5 mg of azithromycin per 1 kg body weight) once daily for 2 days. If necessary, the injection may be repeated.

The use of the preparation is prohibited in animals with renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as in cases of hypersensitivity to macrolide antibiotics.
The use of the preparation is prohibited in lactating animals; its use in pregnant animals and young stock is permitted with caution, under the supervision of a veterinarian.

Cattle must not be slaughtered for meat earlier than 40 days,
Pigs – not earlier than 40 days,
Sheep – not earlier than 35 days after the last administration of the medicinal preparation.
The meat of animals forcibly slaughtered before the specified period has elapsed may be used for feeding fur-bearing animals.

Azitronit is packaged in glass vials of 20, 50, and 100 ml or in glass bottles of 250 and 500 ml, sealed with rubber stoppers, aluminum caps, and first-opening control clips. Vials containing the preparation in volumes of 50 and 100 ml are packaged in individual cardboard boxes.

Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at a temperature of 5°C to +25°C, in places inaccessible to children.

2 years from the date of production, from the first opening – 30 days.
Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
