| Dosage and method of administration |
Dironet spot-on for dogs is applied topically (spot-on) on dry, intact skin. Beforehand, break the tip of the pipette, put the fur aside and apply it to the animal's skin in inaccessible places for licking: the base of the neck and between the shoulder blades. The contents of the pipette are applied in 3-4 points. The minimum dose for an adult animal is 0.2 ml/kg body weight, which corresponds to -17 mg/kg praziquantel and 4 mg/kg ivermectin. The minimum dose for puppies is 0.1 ml/kg body weight and corresponds to –8.5 mg/kg praziquantel and 2 mg/kg ivermectin. Depending on the age and weight of the animal, choose the pipette with the required volume or the combination of pipettes and apply in the doses indicated in the table.
*When applying to dogs over 30 kg, apply Dironet spot-on for dogs at a dose of 0.2 ml/kg, using the pipette combination. For the destruction of fleas, lice and ticks, the application is carried out only once, to prevent reinfestation - once a month during the active period of the insects. In the treatment of otodectosis (ear ring) the preparation is applied only once on the skin. In the treatment process, it is recommended to clean the ear canal, remove cerumen and exudate, and in the case of complications with otitis, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory remedies are indicated. If necessary, the treatment is repeated after a month. With a curative purpose in the case of sarcoptosis or demodicosis in dogs, the preparation is applied 2-4 times, with an interval of 10-14 days; with preventive purpose - 1 time per month. The treatment is recommended to be complex, with the use of etiotropic and symptomatic preparations according to the instructions. For the deworming of animals against nematodes and cestodes of the digestive tract, the preparation is used once, with a preventive purpose - once a quarter. |
